A Nation Within
Freedom arrived, but the ground beneath it was unsteady.

Set less than sixteen years after the end of slavery, A Nation Within unfolds in Tuskegee, Alabama, where newly emancipated Black communities faced a future with no blueprint and little mercy. At its center is Booker T. Washington, whose journey south was an act of conviction—a belief that education could anchor dignity, labor could shape destiny, and a school could become a nation.

From bare land and collective resolve emerged an institute that would grow into Tuskegee University, evolving from modest beginnings into a four-year college and a beacon of self-determination. What was built in Tuskegee was more than brick and curriculum; it was a way of life forged through discipline, cooperation, and imagination.

A Nation Within is a lyrical meditation on resilience and vision—an intimate portrait of a people who, denied entry into the American promise, chose instead to construct one of their own.
Unpack
Unpack is a Four-Part Docuseries that examines the complexities of social and economic justice, systemic racism, and how those factors impact the spending decisions of African-American women as it relates to luxury products. UNPACK follows and showcases the experiences of two women…Black Women, Black Entrepreneurs, Black Community Activists, Black Consumers, and the owners of an African-sourced luxury handbag company based in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We need more filmmakers of color telling the story. I’d like to see more filmmakers take their products out independently, put together a good commercial film and distribute it online”
— Will Packer
